Digital Health expert, David Finn, CISA, CISM, CRISC, and CDPSE joins the Advisory Board of First Health Advisory to support strategic and thought leadership initiatives in using technology as an enabler of operating efficiency through the optimization and control of technology in an ever-evolving digital health landscape.

David will transition his current company leadership role as EVP of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to board duties, which will draw upon his years as a digital health expert leading effective governance and compliance to advance cyber performance in the health sector while helping our clients respond to heightened industry threats.

As a board member, Finn will guide First Health’s continued focus on the role security, privacy, and risk management play in the environment of care, including the importance of business continuity and patient safety. Finn has spent nearly four decades as a health IT, privacy, and security leader in the healthcare sector, including two years as Vice President, AEHIS, AEHIT, AEHADA at The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME).

Prior to his First Health leadership role, Finn served as EVP of External Affairs, Information Systems, and Security at CynergisTek; Health Information Technology Officer for Symantec; and CIO of Texas Children’s Hospital, one of the largest pediatric integrated delivery networks in the country.

As a digital health expert, his vast understanding of the secure use of IT to support operational efficiency in healthcare, while optimizing business value and improving control of technology in the healthcare setting will provide critical guidance to the direction of the organization and insights to better serve our clients and partners.
