In this Medical Device Security Report, 43 Healthcare Professionals, who are CHiME members, were surveyed about the current state of their Medical Device Security. As you may know, cybersecurity is a growing concern in the healthcare domain. It’s the responsibility of healthcare leaders and their clinical teams to verify their digital ecosystem is secure to ensure the livelihood of patients. The 2022 Medical Device Security Survey Report shows where the healthcare industry currently is on the journey to security maturity. By giving insight into the current cybersecurity threats and the maturity level of healthcare entities, First Health hopes to shed some light on how we must proceed as a community that wishes to protect its patients in an evermore connected world with inherently insecure medical technology.
