Discussion around the current state and current path of cybersecurity within healthcare technology, a critical sector in the United States, from key stakeholders and influencers in the industry. A wide representation of stakeholders (Academia, Health Delivery Organizations, Medical Device Manufacturers, Government, and Advisory) coming together, to explain and expose the challenges of cybersecurity in healthcare organizations both large, medium and small, and set a direction for moving forward to address those challenges. The panel would include discussions around various topics, starting with how each stakeholder group views the state of the sector security, or their own viewpoint of issues and how they are individually tackling them, and coming together as a group to focus on supporting industry groups of all sizes by innovative offerings from volunteers, experts, and mechanisms, as well as obtaining support via the government pillars to incentivize the improvement/change across the sector.
